STUDENTS from Huddersfield New College danced and signed during a performance at Castle Hill School, Newsome.
The BTEC Travel and Tourism students are studying a unit called ‘Entertainment for Holidaymakers’ as part of their course.
They have been practising dance routines as well as Makaton, a simplified form of British Sign Language, to help them perform to the students at Castle Hill School which caters for students with a range of physical and learning disabilities. Kam Rogerson, Head of Department for Travel and Tourism said the unit would count towards students final grade in the summer.
