A HUDDERSFIELD man accused of attempting to pose as a barrister at Calderdale Magistrates Court will stand trial next month.
Leeds University student Adam Zoubir, 32, of Arnold Street, Birkby, appeared at Bradford Crown Court yesterday where Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC confirmed a trial lasting about two days would begin on November 16.
Zoubir is alleged to have informed magistrates court staff in February that he was a barrister at law and was due to represent a defendant charged in criminal proceedings.
Zoubir was granted conditional bail until his trial.
