A man has been arrested in the North East in connection with the death of car dealer Christopher Hartley.
The 39-year-old man from the South Shields area of Tyneside was arrested yesterday during an operation by Northumbria police.
He will be brought back to West Yorkshire today for questioning.
Last Friday a 35-year-old Tingley man went before Huddersfield magistrates over the alleged murder of Mr Hartley.
Mr Hartley, 45, from Hill Top in Tingley, near Batley, was found dead with gunshot wounds on Litherop Lane in High Hoyland, near Clayton West, on the evening of September 8.
A 44-year-old man from Wakefield, a 41-year-old man from Morley and a 51-year-old from Leeds, who were also arrested, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
