A YOUNG woman had to be rescued from her car after crashing through a raodside barrier on the M62.
The 19-year-old collided ended up in woodland on the edge of the eastbound carriageway between junctions 24, Ainley Top, and 25, Brighouse, after swerving to avoid another vehicle.
Firefighters from Huddersfield, Elland and Brighouse were called to help paramedics at about 7.40pm last night.
They cut the door off her Peugeot 206 to pull her out.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to suspected shoulder and hip injuries.
