AN ARSONIST had to take drastic action after accidentally setting himself on fire.
The man is believed to have removed clothes that were alight when he struck at a house on Peridot Fold in Fartown.
He and another man started the blaze early today.
The fire, discovered shortly after midnight, damaged a living room in the ground-floor flat, which was empty at the time.
