POLICE have cordoned off the Yorkshire Building Society in Lindley after an attempted robbery this afternoon.
Raiders struck at 4.11pm at the small branch on Acre Street, opposite the Bay Horse roundabout.
It is believed they made off after the raid.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene and the area was cordoned off.
