THE LITTLE girl killed by a car outside a Brighouse park has been named as Olivia Feasey.

Two-year-old Olivia, known as Livvy, was knocked down and killed at 12.50pm on Sunday outside Wellholme Park.

The tot was with her mum Hayley, 28, and dad Mark, 33, and the couple's five-month-old baby Addison, who live in Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse.

Livvy and her family are understood to have been relaxing in the park and were just in the process of packing their things away into a vehicle when witnesses say Livvy wandered a few feet.

As her father went to pick her up they were hit by the car.

The crash killed the little girl and her father is currently in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with serious head injuries.

The driver of the car, a VW Passat, a 46-year-old Halifax man, suffered cuts to his hands but did not seek hospital treatment.

Floral tributes and teddy bears today line the pavement alongside Wellholme Park close to the scene of the accident, which is being investigated by police who reinterated their appeal for witnesses today.
