A NATIONAL appeal has gone out for information about a missing man wanted over a shooting in Huddersfield.

BBC One’s Crimewatch programme last night called for people to come forward if they knew where Reshino Arapaj (pictured left) was.

The 19-year-old – known as ‘Gino’ – is suspected of being involved in the drive-by incident at the junction of Birkby Hall Road and Norman Road in Birkby on September 20.

At about 3.15pm that day occupants of a VW car fired shots at a Vauxhall Corsa near Norman Park.

The car was damaged but no-one was hurt and the offenders drove off.

Yassar Yaqub, 21, of Rudding Street in Crosland Moor, has already been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Bradford Crown Court in May.

Arapaj, 19, has links to Crosland Moor, but police believe he could be in Leeds.

Anyone with details about Arapaj’s whereabouts should call Huddersfield CID on 01484 436664 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555111.
