PRODUCERS of TV's Where The Heart Is have said a big thank-you to a school - by sponsoring its football team.

Scenes from the popular drama are filmed at Crow Lane Junior and Infant School in Milnsbridge.

Programme makers have showed their gratitude by supplying the school with a new soccer strip.

The Year 5/6 team will trot out next season in a blue strip with the Where The Heart Is name across the players' chests.

Producer Ian Hopkins visited the school for the handover. He is pictured (centre) with Sarah Urban, of the series co-ordination team, football coach Robert Dyson (far right) and the players.

A programme spokesman said: "We're grateful to help out."

Shooting at the school takes place two or three times a year, usually during the summer.

A school spokeswoman said: "We all look forward to seeing scenes of the school on the programme."
