Two men have been arrested after an axe attack in broad daylight.
A 27-year-old man remains in a serious condition in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary followinig the assault at a car wash on Longroyd Lane in Longroyd Bridge on at 11.10am on Monday.
Police announced this morning that two men, aged 24 and 29, were arrested in connection with the incident yesterday afternoon. They are currently on bail.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are still appealing for witnesses to contact DS Neil King at Huddersfield CID via 101.
