ONE good turn deserves another . . .
A Dalton woman lost her shopping when an elderly couple she was helping in Huddersfield town centre unwittingly walked off with her bag.
But now Jean Weavill has got her purchases back after the couple handed the shopping in to the police.
They rang Mrs Weavill to tell her what they had done after seeing a story about the incident in Thursday's Examiner.
Her bag had got mixed up with the couple's shopping in the confusion when the old man fell and had to be helped up.
Mrs Weavill said: "It was good of them to hand the bag into the police.
"Some people would have just dumped it somewhere."
