TWO men have appeared in court charged with robbery.
Richard Calvert, 20, and Jason Robinson, 38, were at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
They are accused of a robbery at Fenton Road, Lockwood, on February 8.
There they are alleged to have stolen a Baird 42ins TV belonging to Joseph Doyle.
Robinson, of Juniper Grove Mews in Netherton, faces a further charge of stealing a disabled parking permit.
The alleged offence took place between January 8 and February 8 at Colne Street in Aspley.
Robinson and Calvert, of Coppice Drive in Netherton, were committed to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court on December 16.
There Robinson’s separate theft matter will also be heard.
Both men have conditional bail not to contact Mr Doyle.
Robinson has a further bail condition that he complies with the drug intervention programme.
