TWO men have appeared in court accused of murdering Mirfield man Josh Hirst.
The 20-year-old was found with stab wounds in Hepworth Lane at 11pm on Friday night.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later from his injuries.
This morning Arron Smith and Joe Church appeared before Kirklees magistrates.
Smith, 18, of Savile Street in Emley, and Church, 21, of Redlands Close in Mirfield, are jointly charged with murder.
They also face an allegation of having an offensive weapon in a public place, a knife.
The men did not enter pleas and were remanded in custody.
They will appear before Leeds Crown Court this Thursday
