TWO men are being treated for suspected spinal injuries after a crash on Wakefield Road near the junction of Lascelles Hall Road this morning.
All three emergency services were called after the crash at 9.36am between a Peugoet 207 and a Renault Clio Campus.
Fire crews were forced to remove the roofs of both vehicles to assist paramedics to treat the casualties before they were released and taken to HRI.
One of the men was in his late teens and the other was in his 50s.
The crash caused delays in the area as traffic was diverted.
