A FORGETFUL person sparked a bomb scare at Huddersfield Jobcentre.
The building, in High Street, was evacuated when a holdall was left unattended in the building.
The bag was probed by police to check it was safe and later collected by its owner.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Due to the size of the bag, its location in the building and the fact that it had been moved by staff a number of times prior to police arrival at the scene, the evacuation that was carried out was appropriate.”
