WOULD-BE students are being invited to an open evening at Huddersfield University.

The School of Computing and Engineering is offering a range of part-time courses to people looking to gain new qualifications or simply update their professional skills.

The evening, starting 6pm on Monday September 1, will include information about the subjects, a question and answer session and a buffet.

To make it easier for people to juggle work and family lives with their studies, sections of the courses are accessible through the internet.

Labs and state-of-the-art facilities are open round the clock.

The university takes into account work-based experience when accepting students.

That means people can then get on to a course at a higher level than through academic qualifications alone.
