STUDENTS are renowned for their love of a pub crawl.

But a group of Huddersfield University artists put a new twist on the pastime by displaying their art work at various town centre pubs.

Gemma Mountain, a second year fine art student, had the idea for Art Crawl last year.

Her idea has grown with 22 arty students showing more than 100 artworks.

Gemma said: “Art Crawl is about showcasing student art to the wider community.”

The sculptures, paintings and jewellery were on display in town centre pubs including Revolution, Zetland, Zepher and the Cotton Factory.
