MOTORISTS will be asked to take part in a survey to improve transport and travel in the Colne Valley area.
The Kirklees Council survey will take place in Milnsbridge, Slaithwaite and on the A62 in Longroyd Bridge junction from the middle of this month to early December.
Drivers will be handed a survey form asking for information about the journey they are making, including where they have come from and the purpose of their journey.
They will be given a pre- paid envelope for returning their completed form to the council.
A Kirklees Council spokeswoman said:
"Delays will be kept to a minimum with forms distributed on the approach to junctions where possible, when vehicles are already waiting."
She said the council would also be carrying traffic volume counts at key junctions in the Colne Valley over the same period.
