TWO teenage thugs beat up a man of 57 on a bus.

The bus was busy at the time and police today appealed for passengers who saw the attack to come forward.

The victim got on the bus outside The Crown pub on Westgate in Huddersfield town centre at 7.50pm on Friday.

Many people were on it and the man, who was with a friend, went to the back, looking for a seat.

Police say he politely asked someone to move up a bit so he could sit down, but was then set upon by the two attackers.

They punched him so hard they knocked out one of his teeth and loosened another.

They fled from the bus and ran towards the bus station.

Both are African-Caribbeans in their mid-teens. They wore hooded tops.
