ADVENTUROUS Huddersfield people are being sought for a challenging charity cycle ride across Vietnam.

The British Lung Foundation is seeking fit, fearless people to take part in its gruelling Vietnam Cycle Challenge from September 25 to October 6.

The cycle ride starts in the southern city of Ho Chi Minh and will finish in Hanoi, a French colonial city in the north of Vietnam.

Along the way cyclists will take in mountains, paddy fields, the South China Sea coastline and many villages where traditions have remained unchanged for centuries.

Anyone who wants to take part can reserve a place for £250.

They must also raise a minimum of £2,500, some of which will cover expenses.

The majority of the money will go to the BLF, which funds research into lung diseases and supports sufferers.
