MEMBERS of Linthwaite Ladies’ Guild raised over £700 for a Huddersfield children’s charity.
The group made £760 for the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust through its annual charity day, which included a coffee morning, tombola and raffles.
Members nominate a different charity each year to support.
The trust is working to build a children’s hospice and respite centre at Brackenhall.
The Guild meets every second Wednesday at 7.30pm at Broad Oak Bowling Club.
New members are always welcome.
