PUPILS and staff at Kirkburton Middle School put their best feet forward in aid of the school.
The school holds a 10-mile sponsored walk around the village every three years, so that every pupil gets the chance to take part.
Some of the walkers - who hope to have raised thousands of pounds towards new equipment, including items for their new learning resources area - are pictured at the start and during the trek.
The walk, which started as a school tradition in 1986, took about five hours to complete.
