A NEW toffee-flavoured vodka drink, made in the heart of Anglesey, has found favour with the Prime Minister.

Tony Blair tasted Toffoc during a visit to the island and described the drink, with its hints of vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel, as "fabulous".

Entrepreneurs Dewi Roberts and Padrig Huws created their version of a drink they first tasted apres-ski in the Alps.

Dewi says: "It's not a liqueur for your grandmother but it is a very versatile drink which appears to be popular with a wide age range of drinker."

Toffoc costs £14.99. Call 01248 852 159 for stockists or visit www.toffoc.com.

Toffoc is available in Wetherspoons pubs in England and Wales, and in Spa supermarkets in North and Mid Wales.

P Coffee addicts might appreciate a special festive blend of their favourite brew. Starbucks is selling a 21st Anniversary Christmas Blend whole bean coffee, which you can drink in Starbucks cafes or buy for £4.40 for a 250g bag of whole beans.

It's a fusion of Latin American and Indonesian beans and has a full body, earthy flavour and spiciness to match a holiday menu.
