DEIGHTON man Morris Simpson is going interactive.

The 30-year-old - nicknamed the Poet Laureate when he appeared on Channel 4's Deal Or No Deal game show in May - features in an interactive DVD game based on the series.

He had to travel to Bristol two months ago to record his voice for the game in which he gives advice to the player.

"It's a great game and all the family will be playing it this Christmas," said Morris.

He also features in a new book - Deal Or No Deal: The Official Behind the Scenes Guide with Noel Edmonds. Both the game and the book are £14.99.

Morris made his TV debut on Deal Or No Deal in May when he gambled over £100,000 for the chance of winning the top prize of £250,000. He came away with £20,000.

He has since appeared on the show - fronted by Noel Edmonds - as an adviser to other contestants in a special edition.

He also appeared on the BBC2 show Let Me Entertain You with Huddersfield group Northern Vibes.

They performed the World Cup song - entitled Easy Easy - that they created together in June.

The group includes Steve Smith, Aka Rashid, Dave Smith and Troy Thomas.

The track was recorded at HD1 studio in Huddersfield and produced by Clinton McFarlane and James Reid.
