VOLUNTEERS are wanted to help save lives in Marsden. A meeting is being held tomorrow to form a Community Response Scheme in the village. West Yorkshire Ambulance Service wants people to train as Community First Responders, who provide vital care and support until emergency vehicles arrive. In semi-rural areas, trained volunteers can treat certain 999 calls. The meeting has been organised by the Marsden Enhancement and Residents Society in Marsden Mechanics Hall at 8pm.
