CLIMB the 403 steps of Wainhouse Tower, at King Cross, Halifax, at its open day on Tuesday next week.

CLIMB the 403 steps of Wainhouse Tower, at King Cross, Halifax, at its open day on Tuesday next week.

The ‘folly’ tower’s spiral staircase will be open for people to take in the views afar.

Event times are 11am-4pm (last ascent 3.30pm) and it costs £2 for adults and £1.50 for children.

The tower will be open again on Sunday, July 22 and the summer Bank Holiday Monday, August 27.
