Walking group Socks plans ramble round Scapegoat Hill

YOUNGSTERS have been invited to a village ramble.

Family walking group Socks is holding its monthly meeting in Scapegoat Hill on Saturday, December 5.

There will be a 90-minute walk beginning at the village’s Baptist church at 4.30pm, followed by a fish and chip supper.

The event is due to finish at 7pm and costs £2.50 per head. To book a place call the Rev Brenda Mitchell on 01484 461699.

Socks is made up of members of four churches – Scapegoat Baptist, Golcar Providence, St John’s Church of England and Golcar Baptists.
