HUNDREDS will line up tomorrow to raise tens of thousands for charity.

And there’s every chance for YOU to join them!

The Examiner Charity Challenge gets under way at Meltham at 8.30am tomorrow.

Hundreds of people will be walking, cycling or getting on their horses to raise money for dozens of local charities and organisations.

The annual event, organised by the Lions Clubs, has proved hugely popular and successful.

It is regarded as one of the highlights of the year for people wanting to do their bit for good causes.

Bob Armitage, one of the organisers, said: “It is always an excellent day for people.

“We hope to see as many as possible there tomorrow.

“More than 700 have already registered to take part in the walks, the cycle rides and the horse ride but anyone else will be more than welcome.

“You can register on the day and take part to do your bit.”

The event is at Meltham Sports and Community Centre off Mean Lane, Meltham.

A full report will appear in Monday’s Examiner – with a list of all those who have taken part.
