DANCE fans are being invited to take to the floor for some new classes.

DANCE fans are being invited to take to the floor for some new classes.

Thanks to the popularity of a salsa class at Holmfirth Civic Hall, a new session in ballroom, Latin American and jive has been added, starting on September 1.

Salsa classes are from 1pm to 2pm, with the new class following on until 3pm.

The sessions cost £3 each or £5 for both and will run for 10 weeks.

The popular ballroom dancing class restarts at Huddersfield Sports Centre on September 3.

All three classes are being taken by Huddersfield dance teacher Tristan Edgar.

They are run in conjunction with Kirklees Council’s exercise schemes, Sport4life and the Practice Active Leisure Scheme.
