THE Tour de France has never seen anything like this!

Teams of 23 riders are needed to pedal a giant bicycle more than two miles for charity in the autumn.

The Laura Crane Trust's Big Bike event takes place on Sunday, October 3.

With one squad already signed up, just three more are needed to take to the pedals and raise cash for the Huddersfield charity.

A suitable route, either in Huddersfield or Wakefield, is being drawn up for the ride.

Each team will be timed over 2.5 miles with the fastest receiving medals for their efforts.

Every rider has to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship to take part and help the trust's fight against cancer in young people.

There is also plenty of space for company advertising on the banner above the bike.
