DRIVERS face road closures in Mirfield.
Work on the Stocksbank Road improvement scheme is to progress with surfacing work on Sunday.
Weather permitting, the work should be largely complete by Friday, November 2.
To speed up the process and limit disruption to residents and traffic there will be a sequence of short road closures.
These are scheduled to take place as follows:
Sunday - Closure of Stocksbank Road between the A62 Leeds Road junction and Coppin Hall Lane from 8am to 5pm
October 24/25 - Overnight closure from 7pm to 11pm, Kitson Hill Road junction
October 28 - Closure between the A62 Leeds Road junction and Coppin Hall Lane from 8am to 5pm
Temporary traffic lights will be used during off-peak periods (9.30am to 3pm) on various dates.
