FLYTIPPERS have dumped wood at a beauty spot.
The items, including shelving with the price of alcopops, a sign saying ‘Bambini’s’ and broken mirrors were dumped off Wood Lane near Boothroyd Wood, near Thunder Bridge.
A motorist spotted the items as he was driving past this week.
A spokeswoman for Kirklees Council said: “The waste had already been cleared as part of proactive work to counter flytipping.
“Where possible, evidence obtained from the waste can be used to prosecute those responsible and the public are urged to contact the council wherever they encounter flytipping”.
