We knew Huddersfield boasted stunning views, but our rolling hills, moors and valleys look even more beautiful drenched in white.

And according to Huddersfield weatherman Paul Stevens, we've not seen the last of the snow, with more of the white stuff expected in January.

The snow might have caused some travel problems, and many have blasted Kirklees Council for the lack of gritting on Huddersfield's roads.

But it's also inspired some community heroes, with former footballer Dean Martin coming to the aid of a A+E doctor stuck on his way to a nightshift.
