A LOCUM GP working in Huddersfield Nuffield Hospital has had conditions placed on his registration by the General Medical Council's Interim Orders Committee sitting in private session in London.

No details of any allegations against Dilip Wilson have been made public.

Dr Wilson, whose registered address is Thorn Tree Court, Park View Road, Ealing, has been ordered to confine his medical practice to a training post within the NHS where his work will be supervised by another medical practitioner.

The post should not be shorter than three months' duration and he must arrange for the supervising consultant to make a report before the next committee review in six months' time.

He is allowed to continue his work as Residential Medical Officer at the Huddersfield Hospital for up to six months and he must seek advice from his regional postgraduate dean over any further training he may need.

He must tell the GMC of any work plans giving the name of his supervising practitioner and must notify all employers of the conditions.

The conditions, which are not a finding of guilt but a means of protecting the doctor and the public, must remain in place until April, 2006.
