A FATHER-OF-THREE died in his garage from multiple stab wounds.

An inquest in Huddersfield heard yesterday how Peter Tinker, of Greenside Avenue in Waterloo, was found by his wife on the floor in a pool of blood and with a knife.

The 65-year-old cancer survivor had multiple wounds.

Coroner Roger Whittaker said: “The evidence doesn’t fully satisfy me that Peter Tinker intended to take his own life.

“But it’s clear that his wounds were self-inflicted.”

Mr Whittaker recorded the death as unnatural, caused by wounds on his arms and neck and possibly his chest and stomach.
