A MAN has appeared before Huddersfield magistrates facing drugs, theft and fraud allegations.

Jamie Letremy, 28, is accused of stealing a Skoda Fabia worth £6,000 on June 19.

The car was taken from the home of Jamie Greaves in Keldregate, Deighton.

Letremy is alleged to have taken the key to the car before making off with it.

On June 20 at St John’s Wood in Birkby he is then alleged to have sold the car on, committing fraud by claiming to be Mr Greaves.

The money gained from the alleged transaction is £800.

Letremy, of Mitchell Avenue in Waterloo, is also charged with driving the vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence.

He faces a further charge of producing cannabis at his home.

Letremy pleaded guilty to the drugs offence but denies the other allegations.

He will next appear before magistrates on December 21.
