A motorcyclist was badly hurt today when his Kawasaki bike and a car were involved in an accident in Huddersfield Road.

A motorcyclist was badly hurt today when his Kawasaki bike and a car were involved in an accident in Huddersfield Road.

The rider was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with serious injuries after the 8.14am crash near Stocks Bank Road.

Police closed the main Huddersfield Road in both directions for more than two hours.
