A MAN died from a freak minor injury after his dog bit him during a game of 'fetch.'
Steven Sewell, 55, was playing with his partially blind Alsation-Doberman cross, Judy, during a holiday in Scotland on May 23.
He picked up a stick, but before he could throw it, the dog jumped up and bit him on the finger.
Mr Sewell, a former teacher of Rock Terrace in Hipperholme, felt fine at the time but became ill six days later, a Huddersfield inquest heard.
After returning to Hipperholme, he was taken to hospital suffering from septicemia.
He tragically died on May 31.
