TWO people have been injured after a three car pile up on the westbound slip road of the M62 at Ainley Top tonight.
A male in his 50s was left with injuries to his neck and back after his Ford Fiesta was in collision with a Ford Mondeo and a Renault Megane.
The incident happened at 5.50pm tonight and the collision, at the merger of the slip road and lane one of the motorway, has resulted in one lane being closed.
Highways Agency officials say they hope to fully re-open the motorway by 8pm tonight.
