RESTAURANTS across Huddersfield have been urged to enter the UK’s largest awards for tourism.
A new category of Yorkshire Restaurant of the Year has been included in the White Rose Awards 2011, run by tourism body Welcome to Yorkshire.
Sixteen categories also include the Taste of Yorkshire Award – giving restaurateurs two chances to prove they are the best in the business.
Judges for the 2011 awards include food and travel writer Elaine Lemm, who will use her expertise to help decide which restaurants go through to the final.
Some of the award winners will have the opportunity to compete in the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2012.
