According to Land Registry data, the most expensive home sold in Kirklees was in New Road, Holmfirth, which was purchased for £490,000.
In Calderdale, the most expensive home sold was in Upper Hall Fold, Barkisland, which was bought for £445,000.

According to the Land Registry, 23,766 residential sales have been registered from February 2016.
Across England and Wales, there were 385 £1m+ sales, including 75 at £2m+.
The Land Registry lists the price paid for every property bought at market value by non-commercial buyers, so auction sales and property bought through companies is excluded.
