POLICE are today expected to name an elderly woman who died after being hit by a car in Marsh.
The 81-year-old was struck on Westbourne Road as she crossed near the junction with Eldon Road at 10am on Sunday.
She was rushed to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, but died two hours later.
The 38-year-old male driver of the silver Toyota Avensis estate was uninjured.
