On Saturday July 5, Leeds will join Tour de France history as the official city for the 2014 Grand Depart.
Stage one of the Yorkshire leg of this year's race will begin on the Headrow in Leeds city centre, setting cyclists up for a challenging Yorkshire Dales route before a sprint finish in Harrogate.
The Tour de France caravan - a procession of floats and vehicles that hand out souvenirs and other freebies to the crowds - will set off from the Headrow, opposite Leeds Art Gallery, at 9.10am.
Two hours later, the teams will begin the race from the same location.

The start in Leeds is a ceremonial start - or depart fictif - and as such the peloton will stay together, behind a race organisers' vehicle until the route reaches Harewood.
The journey from Leeds and Harewood doesn't count in the official race distance.
Competitors will travel along the Headrow and onto Eastgate before joining the A61.
The route then goes along Sheepscar Street South before crossing Clay Pit Lane and continuing up Sheepscar Street North.
Cyclists will follow the A61 - Scott Hall Road, which turns into Harrogate Road - before turning left into Harewood.
Harewood House is hosting the inaugural Dare 2B Yorkshire Festival of Cycling from July 4-6 and the race will pass the historic house.
The route then joins Otley Road, passing through Arthington before reaching the Leeds/Bradford border and the start of the Yorkshire Dales via Pool in Wharfdale and Otley.
The cyclists will leave the Headrow at 11.10am, and the depart fictif ends at noon, at Harewood.
The riders are estimated to reach Arthington at 12.03pm, then Pool in Wharfdale at 12.06pm.
They are due to reach Otley by 12.12pm and the Leeds/Bradford boundary at 12.19pm.
After continuing the route through the Yorkshire Dales, the cyclists are due to arrive in Harrogate between 4.20pm and 4.45pm, ending Stage One with a sprint finish to the Harrogate Hotel du Vin in West Park.
