BEAUTY students raised over £3,000 in memory of their friend and fellow student who died from cancer.
Candice Duffy and Jenna Jones gave the money to Kirkwood Hospice where Michelle Scully, 46, lost her fight against the disease.
The students at Huddersfield’s White Rose School of Health and Beauty enlisted the help of all their classmates to raise the cash.
The students gave friends and family a beauty treatment. And guests were also treated to a buffet and a beauty goody bag – all for £10.
Extra money was raised through a raffle and tombola.
Mum-of-five Michelle, who lived in Meltham with her husband John, died in January. She studied at the White Rose School despite her illness.
