HOW could anyone do this to a child and then drive off?

That’s the question both the police and 10-year-old Sean O’Brien’s family are asking.

The Marsh youngster suffered terrible facial injuries after being flung more than 70ft by the hit-and-run driver close to Greenhead Park last Saturday afternoon.

Police have several leads on the driver but as Sean’s father, Gary, asked: “How could anyone leave a child lying on the road like this and drive away?”
