A WOMAN is looking for the owner of an expensive camera left behind after a popular Huddersfield event.

Anne Lotay found the £350 device in Greenhead Park after the Party in the Park on Sunday.

The Crosland Moor woman, whose own camera was stolen two weeks ago, said: “I would hate to think of someone fretting over it.”

Anne discovered the silver Samsung V700 on a grass verge as she left after Sunday’s free concert at about 10.30pm.

The 44-year-old had her camera stolen while on holiday in Barcelona a fortnight ago. She said: “I was pick-pocketed on the Metro. I was choked because there were videos and pictures from my mum’s 75th birthday that I hadn’t saved to my computer.

“Mine was a Fuji A280 which cost about £80 but the one I found is going for £350 on the internet.”

Anne has looked at some of the hundreds of pictures on the Samsung. She said: “There’s Christmas pictures and lots of photos of beaches.”

The woman pictured above features in many of the photos.
