A ROBBER in a weird mask injured a woman during a raid on a fish and chip shop.
The knife-wielding thief walked into Wi' Bits on Leeds Road in Deighton at 7.40pm yesterday, went behind the counter and demanded cash.
He then hit a woman working there with the knife, injuring her hand.
He forced her to open the till and hand money over before fleeing on a mountain bike.
The raider is about 5ft 10ins tall and slim with his face covered by a gasmask-style mask with goggles over his eyes and a small hole for his mouth.
He wore a large black quilted jacket, faded black jogging bottoms, black leather gloves and black shoes.
Det Con Russ Conlon from Kirklees CID intelligence unit said: "We are sure people must have seen this robber either before or after the raid and would urge them to come forward along with anyone else who may know his identity."
