WEST Yorkshire woman Samantha Roberts was meeting Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon today to question him over the death of her husband in Iraq.
Sgt Steven Roberts, 33, of Shipley, near Bradford, was shot dead while trying to quell a riot - just days after being told to hand back his flak jacket because there were not enough to go round.
He died in Zubayr, southern Iraq, last March.
Mrs Roberts has called on Mr Hoon to quit over the failure to get vital kit to soldiers.
