A WIFE allegedly attacked by her husband successfully appealed to a court for him to be allowed home.
David Tyreman, 43, of Church Road, Roberttown, faces trial accused of assaulting wife Shirley and a 16-year-old youth.
Tyreman had been granted bail on condition he stayed away from home.
But Kirklees magistrates heard Mrs Tyreman now wanted him back and told police she was happy for the bail conditions to be dropped.
Mr Abdul Shakoor, prosecuting, said police had spoken to Mrs Tyreman but they wanted the conditions to remain.
Mr Mark Mangano, for Tyreman, said his understanding was that Mrs Tyreman wanted her husband back.
Magistrates removed the conditions and granted Tyreman unconditional bail until his trial on March 25.
