MORE than 40 schools have signed up to our great Collect For Cash scheme.

They're hard at work saving the tokens that appear each night in the Examiner.

The schools that collect the most will earn up to £2,000.

But is your school involved?

Check on www.examiner.co.uk to see if they have registered

And if they haven't then urge them to do so.

Schools must register with us.

Tokens will be printed daily for five weeks until Saturday, April 28. Look out for bonus tokens in our Express and Chronicle series and Huddersfield Weekly News.

Just add the name of the school that you're collecting for on the token and send them to the school, to your local participating newsagents or here at the Examiner.

You can post them to or drop them off at The Huddersfield Examiner, Schools - Collect for Cash Competition, PO Box A26, Queen Street South, Huddersfield, HD1 2TD.

Terms and conditions

ONLY primary and secondary schools are eligible to enter.

All schools must register with The Huddersfield Daily Examiner.

Tokens will be printed in the Huddersfield Daily Examiner (bonus tokens in the Express and Chronicle and Weekly News) from today until Saturday, April 28.

The deadline for tokens to be received at the Examiner is 5pm on Monday, April 30. Proof of posting or other delivery is not proof of receipt or entry and The Huddersfield Daily Examiner accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged entries. Incomplete, illegible, incorrect or photocopied entries will not be accepted.

The winning schools may be required to take part in publicity. Trinity Mirror accepts no responsibility once the prizes have been allocated. Normal Trinity Mirror NW2 rules apply. No purchase necessary. The editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Schools' registration will automatically involve the publishing of the school's name and in some cases photographs of the school/staff and children. The competition is only open to primary and secondary schools in the Examiner's circulation area.

The promoter is Trinity Mirror Huddersfield, Queen Street South, Huddersfield HD1 2TD. See www.examiner.co.uk for the full list of terms and conditions.

The schools who collect the most tokens in each category will win £2,000 with four runners-up each receiving £500.

Category 1 – Primary schools fewer than 180 pupils

Category 2 – Primary schools more than 180 pupils

Category 3 – Secondary schools fewer than 850 pupils

Category 4 – Secondary schools more than 850 pupils
